Putting up the Tree

Just thought I would post a few pictures of the boys decorating the tree. We put it up the day after Thanksgiving. It has had a major face-lift since then. 2 strings of lights have needed replacing and my bows needed some fresh additions. But, now, it is looking just the way I want it to. The boys love to turn on all of the musical ornaments at the same time. Then they run around in circles laughing and singing. I love to see how much fun Christmas is for them.

Comment of the Day

So today, Mike and I were doing the dishes after dinner. Mike asked the boys, "Do you want to watch Mr. Kreugger's Christmas tonight?"

Daven replied, "But, we can't watch that, we don't like Cougars, right, daddy?"

Ha, ha. I guess the brainwashing has already begun. Well, actually, I think deep down, Daven is a die-hard Utes fan. But, Mike was pretty proud at this moment.

I have finally posted some pictures from our trip. There are a lot. I think we take way too many pictures...

Favorite Ride:

Daven - Dumbo. We did get him to go on splash mountain, pirates, and Thunder Mountain railroad. I think they were a little scary for him. He loved Soaring Over California, though.

Logan - The up and down ride (merry-go-round) and Dumbo

Rickie - Dumbo, the boys liked it so much, we had to do it every day. I also liked Soaring over California

Mike - California Screamin' & DUMBO!!!

The Play Parade was so much fun at California adventures. We saw it 2 nights in a row. The boys were so into the fact that Lightning McQueen and Mater were there.

Favorite Character:

Daven - Sleeping Beauty. He stared at her autograph all the time. He still likes to pull out her autograph and look at it. I think he has a crush.

Logan - All of them. We were surprised he wasn't scared of them.

We had a great time. What was most ironic was that we drove all the way to Disneyland to ride on Dumbo and the Merry-Go-Round. But, it was totally worth every minute.

Tony and Michelle met us at Disneyland one of the days. It was so fun to see them & baby Noah. He is such a cutie.
